PROTIP: Piracetam makes everything taste like shit, including protein shakes.
---
For starting my summer so productive, I've really come to a standstill on accomplishing anything. Partially it has to do with my former employer, Buddy's Pizza, who thanks to what seems to be both incompetent and bitter management have fired me from my job, yet LIED on their paperwork to make it out that I quit, which means I can't get unemployment. Doesn't matter though because I'm fairly positive I can get unemployment or force them to give me a job back. Either way, I have more than enough ammo for a full blown lawsuit against them and I plan on doing as much as I can to make sure the people responsible for doing this to me get screwed just as hard as they tried to screw me.

I AINT NO BITCH AND YOU AINT GONNA TRY TO FUCK ME LIKE ONE.

Everything at Once

we had a good run

So much to do and so much time to do it. That must be why I take 3 hour naps, go on 4chan until the sun rises, and play multiple hour BlazBlue sessions.

I need a work ethic.

Skoo

>Tiffany Blews- oh oh oh oh oh
---
First day of classes tomorrow. Boo. Don't have any books, supplies, got dropped from the waitlist for the creative writing class I've been dying to take. Fuck.

At least I have some good philosophy class and a drawing class. Those should tide me over while I take whatever communications class I signed up for and speech.

As an added bonus, I'm going to work my ass off this semester and see if it works. No partying, no super late nights all the time. I'm gonna be sober, working out, eating right, and have a strict list of priorities that actually make sense.

I hoping this will lead to better health, an easier life, better grades, and a way to get a new job soon, because work is fucking ridiculous. We have a new manager who has been with the company less than a year (I'm coming up on 2 unfortunately...), and he doesn't seem to know much of what he's doing. Yeah, everything is simple enough to where he can do it with whatever training he's had, but I'm pissed at the fact that I'm easily more knowledgeable about my job than he is, yet because he's got some bullshit degree from whatever college he is my superior. He made some pretty shitty pizzas today, put 'em in the oven, and then proceeded to tell me to watch what I'm doing because they looked terrible coming out 10 minutes later.

Now I'm stuck with an invalid boss whose first impressions are of some angry guy who can't do his job right. I didn't work my ass off here to get shit on at the bottom of the totem pole.

I'm gonna punch you in the face...

>
---
Sunday night, I wanted to punch people in the face three different times for their sheer fucking stupidity.

Situation one involved me and a couple people discussing the man in China who pushed another man off a bridge who was planning to commit suicide. [link]. This turned into a discussion about suicide and people killing themselves, and eventually how odd it is that it is illegal to commit suicide. At this point, someone goes "I don't care if it's illegal or not, doing stuff like that means you're going to hell when you die." Really, I don't want to sound like some supremest, elitist, or anything else like that, but I really have a hard time taking anyone seriously when they live their lives and make decisions over their acceptance to heaven.

Later, someone brought up some sort of religious topic, maybe cause I started reading the Quran. Anyway, someone brings up atheism, somehow I'm brought into the discussion, and I'm asked if I really believe that "you turn into a tree when you die." I wish I had something large and made of metal to throw at this point. I tried to explain that when you die and your body decomposes, it naturally gets reabsorbed into the soil and probably will find its way into some sort of plant life, though not in any recognizable form. Just like fossil fuels, which are made from decayed living matter, like dinosaurs, only we refine them and combust it for our cars. I don't think they understood what I was even saying. I tried to explain how most of the stuff on Earth is carbon based, as in it was created from some type of supernova at one point, if not some other phenomenon. I'm pretty sure this went over their head too.

RAAAAGE.

The third unfortunate incident was an argument over tipping waitstaff at restaurants. As someone who works in the kitchen of a restaurant, does real, physical work, and still makes less than even the worst waiters, I told someone at work that I no longer leave tips larger than the change I get back from my meal because the waitstaff do no real work. They write down what you want to eat, and 15 minutes later bring you a plate with it. There's a reason they make $3 an hour, they don't do anything. I sure as hell don't get tips. Or compliments for a well prepared meal. Or much of anything, except a paycheck that's always a little to small.

The person I was debating with works in carry out. This person makes slightly less than me if we were comparing hourly wages. However, they also work in an air conditioned area of the restaurant, with a television. I make food, put it in a to-go box, and put it in the carry out windown. They take it, turn 180 degrees, place it on the carry out counter, and the customer takes it. They also answer the phones and ring in carry out orders, but really, it's still not work. Still though, this person actually said they believe they DESERVE tip money for what they do. Working a cash register, pressing buttons on a computer to ring in orders, and answering the phone every couple minutes.

Vacation- Day Thr33

I'm about to start looking for a new job, and I think that there is one with some hope in it. I'll turn in an application on Monday.

I saw Wolverine or Xmen Origins, or whatever it's called last night. It was "eh". I was so pumped for Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool in this movie and he gets maybe 7 minutes of screen time and one fight scene. Bullshit. Same with Gambit, who they made look like a flamer. Not cool.

"Vacation" Journal- DAY 1

>well, SHIT SON
>you complicate things my dear
---
Today, my first official day of vacation until school starts back up sometime in 5 months. Here are the summer plans, and how I plan to achieve them

1)get /fit/. Workout more rigorously and frequently. Already going fine, and I actually don't mind doing it now that I can be outside in the sun.

2)learn some fashion knowledge. I want to look good this summer, and from now on, so I guess this will come in handy.

3)beat Zelda Twilight Princess for Wii. Never did, always kinda wanted to.

4)Pokemon Platinum. I want to do as much as possible. I'm a huge pokemon fan.

5)read the Quaran and "something else" whose name escapes me completely at the time...

6)beer drinking club. Once or twice a week, get together with friends and we all get the same kind of beer and try it. I figure by the end of the summer we'll have hopefully tried like 20-30 beers and we can be well on the way to being pretentious alcoholics.

7)get the band back together. I know at least 3 or 4 musical projects people are working on and I said I'd like to try to help out with. We never get anything done- until now.

8)comics. Now that I own a scanner, I haven't used it since Christmas. I'm funny damnit, and I have drawing ability. This should happen.

Well now, I have to be getting to work. The one thing in my life that holds me back. By far the most necessary of evils, and by far the most evil.

Watch Out for Wet Floors!

akin to pagemaster!
---
So yesterday at work I walked into the refrigerator room to grab a large ass bag of pepperoni. Since we get restock deliveries on Tuesdays, I couldn't see any bags on the shelves and so I reached up to the top shelf to grab a box of pep to open. Little did I know, there was a bag of pepperoni on top of said box, and when I slid it off the top shelf, the bag came falling down and smacked me right in the head. Ouch.

So this got me thinking.

What if the floors had been a little more wet, or that bag was a little bigger? I think I would have gotten knocked out. Similar to what happens to Macaulay Culkin in Pagemaster. The designs on the packages would have come to life, jumped out at me, and then turned me into a cartoon character. Oh, and Patrick Stewart and Whoopi Goldberg would voice my food themed friends that escort me through this animated pergatory.

Seriously. I believe this would have actually happened.

Just Gotta Ignore It...

>tatted up and fatted up
---
As seemingly good as my life has been recently, the world itself is the same old shitty place. I can't get over how fucking much my books cost, and continue to cost me since I don't even own all of them yet. 110$ for a book I know I'll use maybe 5 times over the next 3 months. Not even 5 important times. Bullshit. The schools and book companies are gouging my wallet like no other. Their profits have to be ridiculous.

This past week at school was going pretty well for me. Good classes, nice people, decent teachers, all arranged in a tight fitting, efficient schedule. I have free time in the afternoon and actually do homework the night it's assigned all while having time to burn on my own endeavors.

Today I realized why my week was going so well - I wasn't scheduled for any of those days at work, and really, I didn't even think about that place for a second. I didn't miss it one bit. Now I realize that work is for the most part, the cause of all the stress in my life. Every night of every weekend is spent there, giving me no time to go out and see other people. Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays are busy days, and therefore I do lots of work for long and painful shifts. Yeah, they're maybe only 6 or 7 hours, but when they last from 4pm onward the majority of your day, and the time you could be spending with others, takes place in a miserable little kitchen run by confused, miserable people. After a single shift today, I was sick of that place. I need to get out. How do the managers work 50 hours a week there? How? It's got to be soul crushing.

A New Job?

>I'm just waiting for your call/you're just looking for a pulse
>into dust
---
So I guess that I have gotten a new job that doesn't suck ass. A new job as in something that could actually go on a resume. As in not in the food service industry.

So, I'm working in the offices that ABC owns in the Renaissance Center in downtown Detroit on the pilot for their upcoming show The Prince of Motor City. I'm pretty excited to see what's in store. I know I probably won't be working on the show itself due to my lack of knowledge in anything production related, but I'll still get to see the show go from blueprints to real life.

Now, the only bad parts about this job are the commute downtown, it'll probably only last for another 2 months max, and I don't know how long of a workday I'm cut out for. Whatever though, cause now I'll have real experience with stuff, and make some good money doing it. Well, 130$/day is good money for me considering I make maybe 45$ a day at Buddy's.

Here I am, now where are the past three weeks?

>drop a heart/break a name
---
So here I am, still off the track of my life. I feel so much slipping away, missed opportunities, jokes, moments, people. I don't know what to do with myself. I'm in a terrible grind right now, merely weeks into my summer break. It's torturous. I need more excitement in my life, but I don't know where to get it from.

Drinking is always a fun escape, but I need new places and faces, I can't do the usual "world explorer" bit I like to do with gas prices this high, and there's also the little fact that I've explored so much stuff with my friends I have left little to be found. I think Toledo was the farthest any of them were willing to go on my adventures, but I know I'd take them out to California if they had the time and I had the money.

I can barely get into WoW. TF2 isn't cutting it lately. CS:S is a love/hate relationship. I keep forgetting that Half Life 2 exists. I don't want to replay Bioshock until I get DX10. Not enough people play Smash Brothers well enough for them to be a challenge or any fun at all. Anything else? Not game related.

Books are hard to read for me now, though this could be just my choice of reading materials. Hitchhiker's Guide is good, but so odd that I often lose focus on what the hell is going on. I keep trying to read my books on philosophy, but with my schedule the way it is I'm usually too tired to stay awake for more than a few paragraphs or have already made plans for a night out. I want to be enlightened though, just at a more convenient time.

So basically, I'm in a rut. A really fucked up rut, and I hate it.

Wow, I guess I need some philosophical studies to get some pleasure out of what I have.

So there's this guy at work, the new guy in the kitchen. Well, he's actually been here for almost a month now, but he still acts like a new guy. I digress.

So, he was initially hired because he was a general manager at a Papa Romanos and was stuck working 70 hour weeks, so he wanted out. Everyone had high hopes for him, he's worked in food, he was a general manager, so he might know more than just kitchen duties, and he's used to working long hours, so he'd be good working the shorter shifts we have.

His first week of training, he was alright. Quiet, but alright. We figured he'd be more talkative once he got to know everyone, and would get a lot better at his job once he got used to the swing of things.

Nope. Wrong.

Well, only kind of. He's a bit more talkative now, but still moves like a snail when working. He still messes stuff up more often then he should, and still doesn't understand how to do a lot of stuff that should be self explanatory. One of the problems could be his eyes, or lack of vision. He obviously needs a new prescription because even with his glasses, he spends about 15 seconds squinting at a receipt before he can read it. When food is being rung in ever couple seconds, and stuff is coming out of the oven every other couple seconds, we obviously don't have the time to spend 10 minutes reading a pizza ticket because our eyes don't work.

Okay, yes, I am being very harsh and judgmental on this kid and his physical capabilities, or lack thereof. My points are well founded though, so I don't care. At least he has a personality. Or wait, never mind, he doesn't.

This guy doesn't know how to tell a story, or even a sentence without putting me to sleep. He says words, but they fall flat and go nowhere. Heres some examples (I am the">", he is the "-")
=====
>Man, I cannot wait to get out of class in 2 weeks. Freedom, friends in town, I can go out and drink and party all the time. It'll be a grand 'ole drunken time.
-Oh, you like drinking eh?
>(kinda freaked out at this odd question) Yeah, it's fun, and I love my friends.
-Yeah, the other day me and my friends went out and got some booze.
>Oh yeah?
-Yeah.
>...
-(for some reason, just walks away, off in some random direction)
>...
=====
Seriously? Seriously? That's it? You got booze? What happened? Who got thrown off a third story balcony? Who accidentally slept with their cousin? Who slammed the fifth of vodka in 10 minutes? Something has to have happened. Or it didn't. Maybe he just bought booze, drank it, then went and sat in the corner and cried. I don't know. What I do know is I don't need his mental drool polluting my eardrums.

Also, today, he told me and Scott a story about registering for classes at HFCC. It was excessively lame, but he had one classic line where his information got locked into the registration servers and couldn't be modified or moved. Apparently he was "trapped in cyberspace". We had quite the laugh behind his back, entirely at his expense. It was too good to pass up. Seriously.

Oh, and I know that he was thinking of that line for days. I just know. 3 nights ago, or maybe the next afternoon, he thought of being trapped in cyberspace and said, in his go nowhere, monotone inner monologue "I have to use this one! BALLIN'!". Seriously. I bet he even thought the word "ballin'".

Regina Spektor played over the radio at work today. Needless to say, I was oddly overjoyed to hear it whilst in the dismal clutches of my job.

I noticed that they play a lot of Fall Out Boy too. A lot. Like, as in I'll hear at least 3 different songs on any given shift. I like them, but it's just kind of odd how much I hear them.

Besides them, the only other thing you'll hear when working is A) me singing "The Black Parade" aloud, B) me repeatedly singing the line "Born to be wi-ild", C) constant screaming of "YOUUUUU!" from that fucking Soulja Boy song (we all hate it, but it helps the time pass to piss everyone else off), or D) some other random ass song that I feel needs to be a part of the communal work time experience. For example, today me and Terry did a performance of "Regulators" by Warren G and Nate Dogg. Truly awesome indeed.

I beat both Portal and Bioshock, so now I'm off to conquer the looming beast that is Half Life 2. I'll get back to you on my thoughts on all three.

Sub par

Traditional British Shoes
---
My life is absolutely sub par as of late. Work is shitty, which is kind of unusual because I usually don't judge my work, I just take it at face value.

My classes are alright, it's just that I need to manage my time better so that I get to do something fun and productive when I have free time. I mean, I'm really starting to want to get back into art related stuff, start writing more, for fun, music, and blogging, and finally learn FL Studio so that me and my brother can get our group up and running. I don't care if anything I do goes anywhere, I just want the experience, and there's always a chance we could do something new and make a name for ourselves.

Other than that, I'm up to nothing. Besides waiting for the new Smash Brothers of course.

Worst Day

prty n bllshit
---
Yesterday was probably the worst day in recent memory. My internet kept going in and out, I felt like shit, my knee is all messed up, we were short 2 people at work, and I got a flat tire. Awesome.

Work was especially shitty because of the kitchen manager. She said she'd work my stuff for me while I did all the cleaning stuff for the other people. I was pissed, but at least I didn't have to do my normal stuff too. Wrong. Right at 9:00, the time when I usually leave, she leaves. The fucking twat didn't do anything the whole night, so I had to go back and do a whole mess of other stuff. Damnit. I didn't leave until around 10:45, and I got to walk up to my car with a flat tire.

I think I'm gonna go take out some rage on people in Rapture.

Happy New Year I Guess...

its ALL WRONG
-
FUCK
-
less than stellar
---
So it's a new year, 2008 to be more specific. Anything new? No. Not yet at least, but hell, it's only been 5 days. As if for some reason I haven't said this before to myself and/or others, I plan to keep my resolutions this year and make something of myself. I want to do an album with my brother, get some of my other music released with other people, get on track with school, start my artwork making back up, and start getting out there in the world. I want to meet people through parties, my music, and my drawings. I want to be part of a social scene with anyone I can get with. I figure, it's time to start getting my name out there, even with random ass nobodies just for the publicity. Maybe someday I'll be able to use my creative abilities for something great.

Maybe that could be a reason why I've felt like shit lately. I have great, original ideas, but never execute them. I think that it's time that my ambitions started to take form and I work my hardest to make whatever dreams I have come true. Yeah, I know for a fact that I tend to be pessimistic and cynical most of the time, but I know for certain that what I have to make and share with people is great shit. It's often time weird and out there, but entertaining nonetheless. I fly all my ideas past a couple of people like my brothers and a few friends, and although I'm usually met with some sort of exasperated sigh because my ideas usually begin with some sort of pun or play on words, I always get good some kind of good feedback.

I know that anyone could say "They're only telling you what you want to hear!", but I know better, and I know that it's not true. My brothers and father rip my ideas apart piece by piece because of how "stupid" they are, but always end up 20 minutes later going "hey, even though we just made fun of it, it is kind of interesting and new". I get laughed at all the time for the ideas I have shared, but people usually end up feeling that they are overall well developed and intriguing.

Anyway, I could talk for hours about my other ambitions with art/design and music, but I think that's for another time.

A week in review

[Tuesday]
fucking up harcore
shitshitshitshitshit
---

Last Thursday was a pretty shitty day, mostly because of the whole "I've been working for 9 days straight" thing I had going on. I got Friday off though, which was needed beyond belief, although for all the wrong reasons. Instead of doing the "right" thing (in this case study like a mofo and do a weeks worth of review in all my other classes) I made the trip up to Ann Arbor in order to party like a fuckin' rockstar - and did I ever.

Through a bizarre twist of fate (kinda) I found myself in possession of a fifth of Everclear and a pint of Bombay Sapphire dry gin. Not counting the various drinks in the friends dorm room I was staying in, (I bought it for her, so she owed me anyway) or all the free, although shitty, beer that would be all over every party within 10 miles. Now, it's kind of been a dream of mine ever since I started reading Tucker Max to try his signature drink, the Tucker Death Mix. Made with Everclear, Lemon-Lime Gatorade, and RedBull, this stuff is literally the Special Olympics in a bottle. Combine that with the 7 or so shots I had afterwards and I was getting ready for a fun night out.

To start the night out we went to a highlighter party which was pretty fun I guess, except for the fact no one told me beforehand and I would have liked a t-shirt to write stupid shit on. I saw some random ass kid who I'm almost positive I've never met in my life and he fucking runs up to me yelling "Whats up man! How crazy seeing you here!" and giving me a high-five. I think he was the crazy one, and not the incident of us both being at this party. I played along though like a pro and we bullshit for a few minutes talking about how "random" it was seeing each other. Whatever, I'm sure it made him happy for the moment, and it makes a funny story for me.

After a while, we slowly made our way out into the street because this girls roommate wanted to go with some guy and we didn't feel like putting up with her whorish bullshit. Let her get raped, I'll still sleep fine tonight. We slowly made our way to this one frat's "Jimmy Buffet" party, which wasn't really my thing. None of his music, too crowded, and it was a total sausage fest. Oh, I wasn't too into the margaritas either, so yeah. Lastly, we went to the frat usually visited for pre-game festivities but no one was there and there was puke on the floor somewhere so we weren't too excited for that.

To end off the night, we stumbled our way to "Big Ten Burrito". The prices were more expensive than the Moe's I used to work at, and the burritos were smaller, but whatever it was 1 am and we were starving. I didn't realize until the next morning that I was somehow coaxed into paying for the burrito of the person whose dorm room I was staying in. An $11 burrito. Awesome!

Saturday Night was pretty great as well. I got off work around 10:15 or so, hung out with some friends, and then went to my ex-manager Mary's legendary birthday/Halloween party. The costumes were pretty wild, I got to see a few old friends, and they had 2 kegs of Rolling Rock, which was pretty damn sweet. Also, some guy from the Beastie Boys "Sabatoge" video was there. Random celebrities are pretty neat.

10.10.2007

Let's talk about hell.

[sometime around 9am]
x to the zzzzz
---
So, the next few months are gonna really suck. As in literally horrible with the way things are looking now. Get this - by the end of the school year, I will owe somewhere around $2600 for tuition. Add on 500$ for books in my second semester. $300 for car repairs. Roughly $100 a month for gas. Christmas will probably cost me around $350 too since I like buying my brothers all the good presents so that they don't leave getting the good stuff in the hand of various 40-50 year old family members. Anyway, all this cash adds up to roughly $4350 which I will need around the end of April.

My job currently pays $7.50 an hour, and that probably won't go up for a while since I just started working there last week. They have me working 25 hours a week, which I really don't even want to work since I go to school full time (well, I only have 13 credit hours this semester, but I'm aiming for at least 14-16 next semester). I told them I want 10-15 hours a week, but they don't like reading so whoever decided to make the schedule either can't read, or just doesn't give a shit. Anyway, assuming I keep working 25 hours a week at $7.50 an hour, I'll make $750 a month. At that rate, it will take 5.8 months to have enough money to be completely out of any debt I have to anyone and start making money for next year. Of course, this is all really optimistic since I'm (stupidly) not taking taxes into account, days I take off for sick/personal reasons, and my inevitable breakdown from working 5 days a week while going to school full time.

Not only does that whole situation make me pissed, but I'm not even paying my whole tuition, I only had to pay a third of it this year. Secondly, I'm only at University of Michigan Dearborn, and when I go to Ann Arbor next year it's going to be more than $10,000 a year there.

Yeah, I know that I really shouldn't complain about being in debt as a college student, especially with at least 3 full years ahead of me, but owing anyone any amount of money eats me alive. I hate the feeling of owing people something, especially something like money that (unfortunately) is a big factor in how people do anything in life.

10.03.2007

Mix it up a bit

10:34
shit shitty
---

Yeah, I woke up a little late today since I was planning on studying hardcore for my Art History 100-something exam today, but I ended up going on AIM, Stumble, taking a shower, and managing to get iTunes open and playing music. What's a work ethic?

Anyway, I took that test, expecting to get destroyed and embarrassed by it, but it turned out relatively easy considering the excessive amount of cramming done along with me not knowing roughly 20% of the material. Another one is coming up in less than a month, so I guess I'll see where that leads me.

In other news, I got a job making pizzas at a local restaurant at $7.50/hour, plus discounts and free stuff. The works not hard, the people are cool, the schedule seems easy enough, and the decent wage (for me at least) and free food make it awesome. My favorite part would have to be that by the time I make the 1300 or so dollars required to pay off my current semesters tuition, the new one will be starting. I'm still broke for about another few months, but whatever, I need the money, I need to to work (since I go crazy without having a job now), and I needed something to waste my time with since studying obviously isn't on that list.

I accidently over slept... Twice

just woke up. going back to sleep.
11:44am
cleaning my houses gutters, then class until 4. whoopee!
11:59pm
downloading the Enemy Territory:Quake Wars demo!!

---
Overall, cleaning the gutters was actually kind of fun since I got to walk around on the roof, which I haven't done in quite a while. Class was bearable, but my Comp teacher seems to be extremely religious which took every bit of my willpower to not start making comments on my beliefs.

As for right now, I just got home from going out with a friend and figured it was time to cave in and download QuakeWars.
